Stopped for a quick bite to eat on our way through to Stanley. Greeted by a sweetheart who was very pleasant to talk to. We bought a home made sausage roll, chunky steak pie and a ham and cheese toasty with coffees to go. Whilst waiting for coffees and the toasty we tucked into the sausage roll and it was smashed out - tasty, full of flavour and a perfect size to stop the tummy grumbles Chunky steak pie filling was tender and there was no mistaking the chunks - needed a fork in the end as it was being eaten so quickly we mismatched the pastry to filling ratio and it was declared best pie ever by the 12 year old Toasty was yummy - cheese was the highlight! Coffee - both a skinny flat white and a long black was hot and delicious and rivalled any other we have purchased along the way Thanks for the great stop Muddy Boot, loved finding you on our trip :)

Great little stop on the way out to the west coast, it was recommended to us. We stopped in at about 3:15pm. Great time to be open to be frank! We ordered: Flat white, great. Spiced chai, delicious. Chocolate milkshake, delicious. Banana cake, topped with icing, served with fresh cream; this was a bit dry. Beef and mushroom pie, wonderful amount of meat, could have done with some more gravy inside. Pastry was delicious. It was served with a small fresh salad on the side. Service was lovely, great little play nook for little ones (remember it’s called Muddy Boots for a reason, in regards to hands and knees on the floor )

Enjoyed our first visit here yesterday. Young staff are delightful. Large parking area. A rustic, unpretentious venue. Our pasta was excellent. Freshly cooked and very generous serve. No room for lovely home cooked desserts, next time! Reasonable pricing for a superb meal.
